Forty Fingers

I was amazed during a recent assignment for Verve Magazine to photograph juggler Ingrid Johnson and the juggling troupe Forty Fingers and a Missing Tooth.  Juggling is truly a mix of art and athleticism plus good eye-hand coordination of course. It can be dangerous .. I guess that is where the “missing tooth” comes in....

Sustainable Living

I had the great opportunity to photograph members of the Celo community for the August issue of Our State magazine. Celo is a non-profit land trust founded in 1937. It sits on over 1,000 acres in the South Toe River area outside Burnsville, NC. Over 40 families live there. Community members own their own homes...

Amanda

I’d like to recognize my wonderful daughter Amanda. She has amazed me time and time again with her beautiful violin and harp playing. She recently played her first wedding on harp with my wife Karen  on violin. She has become a valued member of the Touch of Rose Music family band.
