A few issues back I worked on a series of portraits for WNC Magazine of local Asheville citizens involved in some way in the green movement. Two of my subjects were Charlie Wilson aka The Organic Mechanic and Tracy Davids the Executive Director of Wild South. The Organic Mechanic has instituted measures such as oil filter recycling, using re-refined oil when possible and using a water based cleaning solvent and Wild South is in the business of protecting forests. These two and the others I photographed for the story are on the front lines to make the planet a better place to live.
