While on assignment for Carolina Home + Garden’s Summer Issue I was fortunate enough to meet three women of notoriety who each in their own way have helped shape the visual landscape of the Asheville area. Architect Patti Glazer has been a designer and renovator of some of Asheville’s most distinctive buildings … she also happens to have an awesome coffee mug collection. Pam Myers, the Executive Director of the Asheville Art Museum, who is not only surrounded by beautiful art at work but has her personal collection at home, each piece bringing back a special memory. And finally, artist Susan Finer, a former textile artist turned painter. It was truly an honor meeting and photographing three such accomplished women.
